...was born March 18th 1990 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Shortly after her birth her family relocated to Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada and it is here that she grew up. Around
of the age of three Rosanna began to draw, wanting to draw as well as the animators whose work she had seen on Disney's The Fox and the Hound. Not long after, her family journeyed to Manning Provincial Park, which is where inspired by a simple box of Nerds Candy, Rosanna began to tell stories about fictional and highly mythical technicolour 'nerd beavers.' Growing up Rosanna told many epic tales of the nerd beavers while hiking, a past time that to this day remains beloved of herself and her kin.
The story which would later make her an author was born when Rosanna created a world called 'Rimer' (pronounced 'Rim-err') and in grade 3 of her education, wrote the ten page story '2999' which was essentially a tale of two human explorers, Zack and Sarah. Rosanna might of stopped there, but she was fueled with a burning desire to become a published author and tell stories, so she set to work writing more, creating sequels and rewrites of the original manuscript. Inspired by visits by real authors such as Eric Walters and the stories of her favourite authors' success, Rosanna kept trying to write a better draft of her story, finally coming up with 'Rimer; Return to Beginnings.' However, disaster struck when the family computer crashed and Rosanna had to start again anew, but this time she had a better idea of how she wanted to write the tale.
Thus, Ashes of Hope took flight when Rosanna was fifteen. Since AOH was written Rosanna has worked out the plots and order of at least fifteen other books in the series which has become the story of a world trying to find peace.
Rosanna graduated highschool in 2008 and moved to North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where she is now persuing a degree in animation as well as writing more of her books. Besides the books in her Copperbane series, Rosanna plans on publishing several other unrelated manuscripts, starting with the 1st-person tale of Kingdom of Spirits. With her writing Rosanna strives to pursue important issues such as war, racism and ecology as well as tell a good yarn. Besides writing, Rosanna is a hardcore hiker and backpacker and has been all over British Columbia and Alberta. Rosanna often claims to be happiest when she's hiking, but enjoys other activities as well such as art.
Besides her creative and outdoor pursuits, Rosanna loves animals, particularly wolves and horses, which appear in some form or another in most of her writing. Besides her love of animals, Rosanna likes history and can spend hours watching the History Channel. Her idol for historical facts remains her highschool socials studies teacher Mr. Fowler. If she could, Rosanna would live action roleplay as a Roman soldier.
